Viem Strings
“Wonderful. It was a real spectacle with the sound of the strings ringing out in the outdoor sun”
About
Formed on the vibrant performance pitches of London’s Covent Garden, Viem Strings is a collective of four world-class musicians recognised for their charisma and elite technical flair.
Led by violinist Monica Vinoly, the ensemble represents the best of the London session scene, with members having contributed to landmark projects including the BBC’s Planet Earth III and high-profile recording sessions for global artists such as Lewis Capaldi, Rick Astley, and Paloma Faith. This professional pedigree is matched by their international reach, with the group’s collective experience spanning stages in Brazil, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and beyond.
What defines Viem Strings is a rare combination of "street-earned" stage presence and conservatoire-level precision. Their background in interactive, public performance has given them a unique ability to captivate and engage any audience, whether they are performing on a West End musical theatre tour or headlining a major international event. Based in London but performing globally, Viem Strings offers a versatile and high-impact sound that bridges the gap between intimate chamber music and large-scale, professional session work, making them one of the most adaptable and engaging ensembles on the modern circuit.
