However, acoustic string instruments are crafted from delicate, historic woods and held together by water-soluble glues. To protect them, clients must ensure the venue provides a flat, completely dry performance area that is fully sheltered from direct sunlight, overhead rain, damp grass, and strong winds. If the British weather takes a turn, a backup indoor space must be ready.

Our standard performance packages usually range from 2 to 3 hours of on-site time. For a wedding, a 2-hour booking perfectly covers the ceremony prelude (20-30 minutes of music as guests arrive), the ceremony itself, and the beginning of the drinks reception. For corporate dinners or afternoon galas, a 3-hour booking allows for beautifully paced sets with brief intervals, keeping the atmosphere elevated throughout your event.

All we require from your venue are four sturdy, armless chairs (standard banquet or cross-back chairs are perfect), adequate lighting to read sheet music, and a safe, private green room where the musicians can securely store their instrument cases and change into their formal performance attire.
