Yes, all of our jazz band bookings include a high-quality, professional PA sound system tailored to the size of your line-up and venue capacity. The musicians handle their own sound balancing to ensure the music stays at a comfortable level. Basic performance area lighting is also included for larger evening configurations.

Yes, our jazz duos, trios, and quartets regularly perform outside for summer drinks receptions and garden parties. However, electronic keyboards, drum kits, and double basses cannot be exposed to direct sunlight, damp ground, or rain. The venue must provide a completely dry, flat, hard surface and a reliable overhead marquee or shelter with access to power.

For duos and trios, we require at least two independent, standard domestic power sockets near the performance area. For full quartets or vocal bands, three to four sockets are preferred. The venue must also provide sturdy chairs for the rhythm section (pianist/drummer) and a secure, private changing space for the band to store their equipment cases.

Our standard performance packages usually consist of 2 x 45-minute sets or 2 x 60-minute sets, spread over a 2 to 3-hour on-site window. This is highly flexible and can be easily timed around your wedding breakfast courses, corporate dinner schedule, or key event speeches to ensure seamless transitions.
