About
Alleya Weibel is a highly experienced violinist, violist, and electric string specialist with a career centered on live touring, studio session recording, and high-profile stage and screen appearances.
Classically trained, Alleya holds a BFA in Violin Performance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign under Meg Freivogel, alongside advanced classical and popular music studies at Goldsmiths, University of London. This background has allowed her to transition effortlessly into the pop, rock, and electronic music sectors. As a live performer, she has toured extensively across the USA, Europe, the UAE, Bali, and Argentina. Her UK live credits span some of the country's most iconic stages, including Glastonbury Festival, the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley SSE Arena, and the Roundhouse.
Alleya is a regular fixture in major commercial productions, having performed live and recorded with global artists such as Burna Boy, The Script, Take That, and Rebecca Ferguson. Beyond her live touring work, she has established a strong presence on screen and television, appearing on The X Factor, performing for international live broadcasts on Manoto TV, and co-leading string sections for the Pride of Britain Awards. She has also been featured prominently in major music videos, including performing in a string quartet for Duran Duran’s official video release of Five Years and starring in the music video for pop artist Elizza's Unhurt.
When not on the road or on set, Alleya is a long-standing member of the studio team at London’s legendary Metropolis Studios. Holding multi-citizenship across the UK, US, and EU, she has a full driving license and her own transport, making her fully set up for short-notice international travel and freelance bookings.
Live Pop & Electronic Crossover
Alleya brings a high-energy live element to electronic, club, and pop events. She is highly experienced in performing live classical-crossover violin alongside electronic DJs, a skill she regularly deploys on the UK festival circuit with setups like Classic Ibiza, Symphonic Ibiza, and The Ignition Orchestra for Garage Classical. As a solo electric violinist (offering optional LED strings), she is equally at home delivering center-stage stadium performances—with recent headline credits including solo sets for the Women’s Rugby World Cup at UK stadiums and headlining New Year’s Eve events at Caesar’s Palace Dubai. Her commercial repertoire spans pop, R&B, afrobeats, disco, and house music. She is also currently developing her own dedicated, non-cheesy electronic crossover show.

With an extensive background in session performance and live staging, Alleya is a first-call choice for music videos, televised house bands, and high-profile live events. Her work in this space ranges from performing with a live orchestra for the Dolce & Gabbana Summer Fashion Show in Rome to backing artists like Fia Hamilton for the global TikTok LIVE Fest at the Roundhouse, performing for a digital audience of over 3 million viewers.
